Neurosystemic assistance
Alles was Du fühlst, ergibt Sinn!
Verena König (2021, S.8)
trauma is not just an event that took place sometime in the past; it is also the imprint left by that experience on mind, brain, and body. This imprint has ongoing consequences for how the human organism manages to survive in the present.
Bessel van der Kolk (2014, p.21)
Neurosystemic assistance -
what exactly is it?
aus Unternehmen und Organisationen
Neurosystemic coaching is a form of sensitive guidance tailored to complex life's challenges, whether encountered on a personal or professional level. In the face of pronounced vulnerability and fragility, this compassionate approach enables you to:
-
Recognise traumatic experiences within your life journey.
-
Address the current effects of prior experiences alike with great sensitivity.
-
Integrate these experiences with kindness into your personality.
Neurosystemic coaching assists you in:
-
Building capacity and space to deal more more effectively external and internal stress.
-
Developing advanced self-regulation skills.
-
Transforming gently and sustainably outdated patterns.
-
Stabilising your daily life and achieving a new emotional balance.
Our approach is holistic and integrative, drawing from the principles of Neurosystemic Integration (NI®) as developed by V. König. It maintains a necessary distance from traumatic events and operates within a supportive space. The pace of your progress in this transformation and integration process is fuelled by your individual needs.
For more information about the NI approach and trauma, please visit my "Trauma, PTSD, NI" page.
Unlike traditional coaching, neurosystemic work does not focus on specific objectives or follows a negotiated contract of change.
Instead, this sensitive support aims at creating a nurturing space in the here and now. Here, you can freely express yourself, gently explore emotions, and undergo a process of harmonious integration at your own pace.
Neurosystemic support is not a (alternative) therapy
Important:
It's essential to note that neurosystemic coaching is not trauma therapy and does not replace medical treatment. Our coaching does not directly address the specific content of traumatic experiences.
Our aim is not to heal trauma (although healing may occur concurrently) but rather to develop capacities, including self-regulation and containment, for various facets of demanding experiences. This allows you to manage stress more effectively, releasing unpleasant aspects and integrating them into your life's narrative.
Neurosystemic support can be a beneficial complement of ongoing therapeutic treatment.
Possible situations warranting neurosystemic coaching
As a neurosystemic coach, I provide sensitive and flexible guidance on your journey toward increased vitality, balance, and joy in living. My approach integrates principles from neurobiology, polyvagal theory, psycho-traumatology, systemic therapy, and ego state therapy, based on Neurosystemic Integration (NI® according to V. König)
