About me

Coach with extended professional experience

For over three decades, I've been guiding young individuals towards their academic, professional, and personal aspirations.

As a certified coach, I am assisting clients since 2023 in realizing their personal growth in rspect to their autonomy and own values.

If you're feeling overwhelmed by the challenges you have to face at the current moment, I'm available to provide support. Together, we'll identify clarity and motivation to navigate through these circumstances.

Embracing diversity, plurality, and multiculturalism is fundamental to my coaching approach in multilingual and multicultural contexts. This mindset has been underlying my professional practice since my early days as a teacher over 40 years ago, where my focus has always been on guiding, supporting, and empowering young individuals.

Since embarking on my university career in 1994, my academic endeavors have revolved around human activity, learning, communication, interaction, and competence development within various organizational and life contexts (topic of my doctoral thesis).

However, I firmly believe that an effective coaching practice can't be based on extensive professional experience alone. Given that the term "coach" is not yet legally protected, anyone can offer coaching services without appropriate training.

That's why I decided to ground my practice on two certified training programs:

  • one in 2023 in systemic coaching at the Institute for Applied Psychology (IFAP) in Cologne;

  • a second one in 2024 in neurosystemic coaching [NI®] and trauma-sensitive support at Verena König's training academy.

Leveraging this expertise, I offer comprehensive professional assistance for enhancing both professional and personal growth. This includes unlocking potential, activating resources, fostering resilience, managing stress, and addressing post-traumatic stress disorders (PTSD).

My coaching concpetion

I refrain from offering advice or prescriptive solutions. Therefore, my coaching approach cannot be categorized as counseling, mentoring, training, or teaching.

Coaching is a process-driven partnership between the coach and the coachee in which

the coach oversees the desig of the coaching process whereas the coachee takes responsibility for the content - i.e. addressing her/his own challenges. (Radatz, 2010, p.16 - translated by M.C.)

In my view, this relationship thrives on appreciation, respect, and connection. Ms. Radatz compares such a relationship between equals to a dance, wherein the coach guides through questioning, and the coachee leads by means of the figures (content) that both dance partners put on the dance floor

"ideally, both partners continually adapt to each other: in form, dynamics, execution and non-verbal expression” (Radatz, 2010, p. 14 - translated by M.C.)
